The Pacific Review is a student-led literary magazine run by California State University – San Bernardino. Operating for over 30 years, we facilitate artistic and political conversations between students and community members of San Bernardino. Currently, we are working to develop an online presence in addition to our printed publications.

Our Mission Statement

Pacific Review aspires to uplift creative voices from California State University, San Bernardino and the surrounding communities. We aim to illuminate literature, artwork, and other works of value that have yet to be discovered, with the goal of providing a medium for sustaining a vibrant artistic culture.

Our History

The Prickly Pear was California State University, San Bernardino’s first literary journal where students would submit their poems and their stories to share with the campus. In 1983, Pacific Review was brought to life and has served CSUSB for 38 years. Pacific Review goes on to bridge gaps between the school’s communities, bringing all of its students together.
